Meet Our Coaches!

Alyssa Cotreau

Head Coach

My Name is Alyssa Cotreau(April). I have been  the Head coach of the BGCN Aquamarines for 15 years.  I started synchronized swimming when in was in 3rd grade on the Nashua Aqua Y’s, in the late 90’s we moved to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua as the New Hampshire Aquamarines and we are now known as the BGCN Aquamarines.  I have been a coach and judge since high school and love the sport of synchronized swimming!  I have recently joined my fellow Aquamarine coaches and coaches form area teams to compete in US Masters Nationals.    When I am not at the pool I work at a financial firm in the area and have my husband Greg and my kids ages 6 and 2.

Sammy Goy

Age Group Coach

My name is Sammy and I has been with the coaching staff for the past 3.5 years working with both the Novice group and the Age group Team. Before that I swam for the BGCN Aquamarines for 14 years, qualifying for various national championships while swimming. As a swimmer I coached the novice team for three years as well. After I graduated, I went to St. Michael's College where I was a diver, I just couldn't stay away from the pool.  In changing my major and transferring schools I got back into the synchro world. I began coaching with the team and back competing again at the Masters level along with other coaches from the NESSA region and our team. Besides being involved with synchro I work as the Aquatics Director at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua.

Caitlyn MacGregor

Age Group Coach

My name is Cait MacGregor and I have been coaching with the BGCN Aquamarines Age Group Team for 6 years. My passion for synchro started when I was 6 with the ANA Synchers where I swam for 11 years, competing in finals at meets such as Junior Nationals, US Opens, and US Junior Olympics. My synchro career came to a pause after high school, but I couldn’t stay out of the water for long so I started a competitive swim team program at my college, Salve Regina University. Recently, the BGCN coaches and I began competing in US Masters Nationals along with other coaches from the NESSA Region. Outside of synchro, I am a Special Ed Science teacher at the Lighthouse School in Chelmsford, MA
